Congratulations to our 2026 Battle of the Books team members and alternates. These 4th and 5th graders will represent Springer at the district competition on March 12. The students have been reading from this year's book list and practicing with Mrs. Cutting each week to prepare. 

Congratulations to our spelling bee winner, Novalynn R., and runner-up, Avery H. This year's campus bee was a written test for the first time. We had 34 fourth- and fifth-grade students compete. Fourth-grader Novalynn will represent Springer at the district spelling bee on January 13. Good luck, Novalynn!

The Stallion Sidekicks are a fantastic new group at Springer this year! Made up of dedicated 4th and 5th graders, the Sidekicks play an important role in supporting our school community. They assist with school functions, help manage hallway traffic, and lend a hand with the arrival carline each morning to ensure a smooth and safe start to the day. Beyond these duties, the Sidekicks also contribute in other areas like the library, demonstrating leadership and school spirit. We’re proud of these young helpers who make Springer an even better place!
