Texas Bluebonnet Award

The Texas Bluebonnet Award is a unique program that encourages reading for pleasure and is aimed at students in grades 3-6. Students who choose to participate will read books from the current Master List. Students who read at least five of the books will get to vote for their favorite book and will receive an invitation to the Bluebonnet celebration. 
 

Battle of the Books 

Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program designed to encourage students to read quality literature. Third through fifth grade students may try out for the team. To make the team, students must attend practices, read from the list of books, and answer questions about the books. The team then competes against other teams from the district.
